From a young boy in Grenada memorizing movie scripts in his living room to becoming a nationally recognized keynote speaker, Will Baggett has always lived by one unspoken principle:
don’t just follow the lines – redraw them.
But even in those structured spaces, Will saw something more. He realized that success isn’t created by staying comfortably inside expectations. It’s created when individuals and organizations challenge norms, communicate boldly, and lead with intentional difference. So instead of staying solely in sports operations, he stepped into authorship. Then into speaking. Then into building a movement centered on leadership, communication, and personal branding.
Will Baggett grew up in the American South – he’s described as a Mississippi native, which suggests his early years were spent in that region of the U.S. before college. At an early age, he gravitated toward sports, performance, and leadership environments, setting the stage for how he would later think about teamwork, performance, and communication in both athletic and professional contexts.
During his time at Baylor University, he served as an athletic performance coach and graduate assistant, working directly with student-athletes – blending science, coaching, and leadership.
